I created the dresses worn by my nieces who were flower girls in my 2011 commitment ceremony. Both were based on 1940’s patterns. This off-the-shoulder dress was later used in 2012 for the character Big Edie in Ann Arbor Civic Theatre's production of Grey Gardens. In 2013, both this dress and the A-line dress were modeled in a fashion show benefit the Ballet Theatre of Toledo that featured presentations by internationally-known costume designer Vin Burnham. I also constructed fascinator that is being worn by the model.
