Spamalot Millinery
Herbert's fruit hat for the His Name is Lancelot number. I was inspired by the hats famously worn by Carmen Miranda. I constructed a straw and buckram shell, then applied red fabric to it. I then attached the fruit, with care taken to have the banana and grapes be strategically positioned when Herbert ends the number between Lancelot's legs.
