I did two different dresses for the character of Beatrice, to symbolize two different sides to her character. For most of the play Beatrice is very feisty, full of life, and longs for love. Beatrice shows a softer side during the wedding scenes as she supports her cousin Hero. This photograph shows a "softer" Beatrice in an aqua-colored dress. A double layer of lace trim and matching ruffle were added to the dress. The photograph also shows Leona's brother, Antonio; Ursula, Hero's tutor; and, in pink, Margaret, Leona's ward.
